Of The Broncos

I'm not going to go out on a limb and make a prediction, but I do have this to say: if the Broncos are to have any chance in Indianapolis tomorrow, it will take a John Elway-like effort on the part of Jake Plummer. If, somehow, that does come to pass, it would go a very long way towards justifying his presence in this franchise. Indeed, it could be the only thing that would redeem him from a pretty bad year.

On the other hand, if he goes out and lays an egg, and the Broncos get stomped (which, frankly, seems fairly likely), the calls from the Bronco faithful to ditch Plummer will be loud and persistent.
