Mile High . . . Indifference

Well, somehow, despite all their best efforts, the Denver Broncos managed to win a playoff spot today with a win over the Indianapolis Colts' JV team.

I have a hard time getting too excited about this. All along, it was just a matter of do you lose this week to Indy in Denver or do you lose next week to Indy in Indy? I give the Broncs zero chance of holding the Colts under about 600 yards total offense, so I give them zero chance of winning next week.

Still, I guess it's better to be embarrassed in the playoffs than to go whimpering out in the regular season. Not by much, but still, I suppose, better.
