It's As If They Don't Recognize Bad Behavior

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s former finance director has been indicted on charges of filing fictitious reports that misstated contributions for a Hollywood fund-raising gala for the senator, the Justice Department said Friday. (from MSNBC)

This fits the pattern for the Clintons and their supporters for many years. Remember the Buddhist monk fundraiser Al Gore worked? That's the one election-related one that leaps to mind--non-election screw-ups are too numerous to list.

Will it de-rail her for 2008? Well, not for the primaries, of course. And it's not likely to have much real effect after that, either. So. . . interesting, but unimportant. Another Clinton assistant takes a hit, gets indicted, probably serves jail time, and the Clinton rolls along.
